Happy holidays, marblelous babes! 💋 How was your Christmas? 🎄
My Christmas was nothing short of magical! My boyfriend and I decided to go on an impromptu road trip to Yosemite on Christmas Eve! The drive up north was SO gorgeous and when we encountered snow at Lebec, California (about 2.5 hours away from Yosemite), we immediately knew we were in for a winter wonderland treat at Yosemite!
As someone who grew up in the tropical country of Malaysia and now living in sunny Southern California, I was SO excited about the prospect of snow. The only other time I have ever encountered and played with snow was in Chicago during Thanksgiving last year. And honestly, that didn’t really count as the snow was already melting away.
You have no idea how many times I squealed in delight at the sight of snow in Yosemite! I was literally in awe by the breathtaking view the whole drive through Yosemite! The gorgeous trees covered with snow was just WOW. I seriously have no words. It was definitely worth the 5-hour drive!
We (ahem, I mean Vic 🙈) even learnt how to put on tire chains! He got his hands dirty while I cheered him on and offered him tons of sanitizer! haha
Obviously, I couldn’t pass up the chance to play with the abundance of snow. ❄️
My scarf is reversible and is from Ilymix. You can use the code MARBLELOUSLYPETITE20 to get 20% off! 💕
I don’t know about you, but I’ve always wanted a shot of me standing in the middle of a road with beautiful foliage surrounding me. I always come across some seriously gorgeous shots of people doing this floating around social media and promised myself that one day I’ll find a chance to do the same; however, that’s pretty impossible because it’s dangerous and I don’t wanna get killed!
Who knew that the opportunity would present itself on our drive through Yosemite! I seriously have THE BEST boyfriend ever. He is always so supportive and willing to go above and beyond for Marblelously Petite. We literally parked our car at a turnout, waited until no cars were present, ran to the middle of the road, took a bunch of pictures all while keeping a lookout for approaching cars, and ran back to the side of the road when cars approached. We repeated this huge ordeal several times until we were satisfied with the pictures! haha
As cliche as this may sound, but like the infamous song, I’ve always dreamt of a white Christmas. I’m so grateful that my dream finally came true and I got to live that dream with the love of my life! ❄️☃️
How did you and your loved ones spend Christmas? 🎄
What a perfect white Christmas! It looks magical. Love your plaid scarf too!
