Vic and I are officially 48 days away from saying “I do”, eeeek!!! I’m equally excited and nervous all at the same time.

One of the things I’ve been most excited about for our wedding (besides wedding dress shopping and the actual wedding itself) is getting registered! I mean, who doesn’t love going through aisle after aisle scanning barcodes?! No? Just me? 🙈

While I was super excited to be curating our ultimate wedding registry list, I was a little worried since Vic and I aren’t your traditional couple – we already live together and thus, already own a lot of the traditional wedding registry items like dinnerware and small kitchen appliances. In fact, our wedding registry wishlist consisted of mainly furniture and home decor pieces since we recently upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment.

Thankfully, we discovered that Bed Bath & Beyond actually offers an extensive all-in-one wedding registry that not only includes traditional and common wedding registry items, but also non-traditional wedding registry items like furniture, home decor, luggage, and even unforgettable experiences like skydiving and kayaking! We immediately knew it was a no-brainer and decided to register at Bed Bath & Beyond.

We love that Bed Bath & Beyond offers the option to literally register whenever and wherever. You have the option to register in-store with their registry experts, on-the-go with their app (their app also features a super handy in-store app scanner using your own phone), or even online. We ended up using a combination of these three to build and manage our wedding registry and it seriously made this whole wedding registry process so much more seamless, convenient, and most importantly, fun!

The first thing we did was schedule an in-store registry appointment at Bed Bath & Beyond. Our wedding registry consultant, Shelsea, was seriously SO amazing! We were a little nervous at first, but she made us feel SO comfortable and we were giggling and laughing away in no time. Shelsea went out of her way to thoroughly explain the whole process to us (since this was our first time, obviously) and gave us some extremely helpful and valuable tips. One of the biggest tips she gave was to register for items in a range of different price points to accommodate different guests’ budgets. Thankfully, Bed Bath & Beyond’s Registry Price Analyzer helped us do just that.

She also introduced us to the Wedding Registry Checklist (one of Bed Bath & Beyond’s many registry tools) to not only help us stay organized, but ensure that our registry is completely comprehensive. We absolutely loved how thorough the checklist is – we made a list and checked it twice (wedding registry style!) and decided on these 23 wedding registry items that were our must-haves!

Arc Floor Lamp

Vic and I have been on the hunt for the perfect arc floor lamp to go over our couch for a while now. This lamp is seriously the perfect statement piece for our living room (and every bit as functional) and we love the beautiful antique brass finish and heavy marble base to ensure the lamp is sturdy and doesn’t tip over.

Gold Bar Cart

Another piece that has been on our wishlist is a bar cart. We ultimately registered for this one because of it’s unique shape. While bar carts are typically used for entertaining, I love how we’re not just limited to that usage. From a coffee bar cart, vanity cart, to even a flower planter cart, the options are literally endless!

Marble Dinner Plates, Dinner Bowls, and Salad Plates

I told myself that we didn’t really need anymore dinnerware, but I just couldn’t help myself when I saw these GORGEOUS porcelain ones with a marble finish. I love how every single piece is absolutely one-of-a-kind and the raised rims/lips on the plates and bowls are perfect for salad or pasta nights. They are also the perfect little modern accent to our current all-white dinnerware.

Breville Barista Express

If you’re a coffee lover, then I’m sure you’ve heard of the infamous Breville Barista Express. This espresso machine with a built-in grinder has been on our birthday and Christmas wishlist for a while and we’re seriously SO excited to finally get our hands on it! It is seriously what espresso dreams are made of.

Marble Espresso Mugs

We also added these marble espresso mugs to our registry since they not only match our new marble dinnerware, but they’re also the perfect size for a shot of delicious espresso made with our new Breville Barista Express.

SMEG Retro Style Toaster

While we mainly registered for non-traditional items, we also wanted to use this opportunity to upgrade some of our small kitchen appliances that we’ve owned since our college days. This SMEG toaster was one of the items since the gorgeous mint green color matches our kitchen color scheme perfectly and I honestly couldn’t resist the vintage and retro look of it.

Ninja Foodi Cold & Hot Blender

Initially, I was looking at upgrading to a Vitamix blender but came across this one by Ninja on the Bed Bath & Beyond website. I decided to register for this because it’s SO versatile – it has the ability to not only crush ice, make smoothies, frozen drinks, and liquefy whole fruits and veggies, but it also COOKS soups, sauces, and dips with its precision heating element that boils in minutes. I mean, how cool is that?!?!

Cow Print Office Chair

While I loved my previous “office chair” since it was in my favorite mint green color, it wasn’t exactly comfortable. I knew that I needed a legit office chair that was not only comfortable and supportive, but will also aesthetically fit into my current office decor. I came across this cow print office chair at Bed Bath & Beyond and almost cried tears of joy! I’ve been DYING to add a pop of cow print to my office and this chair is seriously a stunner. The seat is SO soft and plush that I can actually sit on it editing and blogging for hours without getting uncomfortable. The studded trim accent also gives this office chair an added chic and glam flair that I love!

LED Rose Gold Floor Lamp

I’ve been really into Edison lamps lately so when I saw this floor lamp, I knew I had to have it for our home. It seriously looks amazing in every little corner imaginable especially with the stunning rose gold finish and exposed LED bulb making a huge decor statement.

Marble Hairpin Side Table

This marble side table was THE FIRST item we added to our wedding registry. We love everything about this side table – the real round marble slab, the gold hairpin legs, and the price was absolutely AMAZING for the quality!

Origami End Table

We also wanted two end tables to flank our couch and decided on this stunning one because of its unique geometric origami shape. I’ve honestly never seen anything quite like this end table before and love the blend of black and gold tones with the marble top.

Three Tier Copper Serving Stand

This serving stand immediately caught my eye thanks to its gorgeous copper color and hand-hammered finish that reminds me of Moscow Mule mugs. Vic and I eat lots of fresh produce and I’ve been looking for something that can hold all our produce on our countertop and yet still look aesthetically pleasing. This serving stand is perfect since it doesn’t take up too much space thanks to the three tiers and I love that it can be used to serve appetizers, desserts, or snacks for entertaining as well.

White Microfiber Sheet Set

I’m a firm believer that you can never go wrong with an extra set of sheets for in between washes. This set is seriously soooooo silky soft and smooth (I’ve legit been sleeping like a baby since we got these) thanks to its microfiber material. Best part? It’s wrinkle-free!

Textured Reversible Duvet Cover Set

If you’ve been following along for a while now, then you know I’m literally OBSESSED with textures. I love how this striped duvet cover set has the cutest pom pom accents throughout but it’s still neutral enough to go with all of our decor. It also reverses to a solid taupe color!

Chunky Knit Throw Blanket

I actually already own this throw in the ivory color and ADORE it so much that I decided to add the grey color to our registry, too! You seriously can’t go wrong with this throw – it’s SO soft, cozy, and looks stunning when thrown over the couch or bed.

Ice Blue Pedestal Cake Stand

This cake stand was literally love at first sight. From the intricate scalloped and beaded details to the gorgeous icy blue-green color, what’s not to love? I love how this cake stand isn’t just limited to just cakes – it’ll make the perfect little stand for a charcuterie board when entertaining and can even double as a kitchen decor piece when not in use.

Grey Three Drawer Nightstands

These grey nightstands were Vic’s registry picks and I think he did really good, if I don’t say so myself! I love the unique circle silver pulls and that the drawers are velvet-lined to protect our items. I also appreciate how much storage these nightstands provide.

LED Brass Gold Table Lamp

We love the floor lamp version so much that we also decided to register for the table lamp version to go on top of our new nightstands. I also think they’ll look amazing on top of our new side tables as well.

Hand-Woven Double Laundry Hamper

This has got to be one of the most beautifully made laundry hampers I’ve ever owned. It literally looks like a decor piece in itself. We registered for this dual laundry hamper as one side can hold my laundry and the other side can hold Vic’s. Alternatively, we also have the option of sorting our lights and darks separately which would make laundry days that much easier.

Gold Round Mirror

We’ve been looking for a simple, minimalistic gold round mirror for our home and this one is even more GORGEOUS in person. I love how this mirror looks above my vanity set right now but can also image it in our entry way, on the fireplace mantle, or even above our couch as a decor piece.

Mint Green Vanity Set

Now that we have a bigger space, I really wanted a vanity set that I could have separately from my office desk and chair that I have in my home office. When I saw this set at Bed Bath & Beyond, I just KNEW it was mint to be (pun intended 🙃)! After all, mint green is totally my color. I love how this vanity set is slim enough that it doesn’t take too much space in our bedroom. It also surprisingly has a lot of storage for my everyday beauty and skincare products – there’s two drawers along with a flip top in the middle that reveals a hidden mirror with MORE storage. I also love how shimmery the vanity chair’s cushion is!

And there you have it! Those were the 23 wedding registry items that were our must-haves to turn our new apartment into a home we truly love. We are literally OBSESSED with everything we registered for and it’s all thanks to Bed Bath & Beyond’s easy returns and exchanges policy that made us feel more than comfortable registering for bulky furniture items knowing we could easily return or exchange something if it didn’t work with our current decor. I also really love that they have a price-match promise and free shipping for everything over $39 – ALL of our wedding registry items arrived quickly, safely, and packaged extremely well. Literally nothing (including all our furniture) was damaged during shipping!

Another HUGE selling point for us registering at Bed Bath & Beyond was the fact that they offer a 20% off discount for any remaining items left in your registry after the wedding. They also provide a bonus 20% off gift to celebrate your first anniversary together. I mean, how amazing is that?!?
