Happy Fourth of July, marblelous babes! 🇺🇸
Can you believe that 2020 is literally 5 months away?!? I was scrolling though Instagram a couple days ago and saw someone posted “2020 is in 6 months. Don’t let anybody waste your time” and I couldn’t agree more. 2020 is going to be a great year, I can already feel it (and not just because it’s the year we’re getting married)!
If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while now, then you’re probably no stranger to this super adorable polka dot jumpsuit. I shared it a while back when I first got it, but it quickly went out of stock. But I just saw that it’s finally back in stock in all sizes and just HAD to share it!
This polka dot jumpsuit is only $56 and I absolutely love love loveeeee the flared leg silhouette. As someone who is both petite and curvy, I usually tend to shy away from wide leg silhouettes like these as I feel they accentuate two parts of me that I always try to conceal – my curvy hips and my….shortness? haha Is that even a word?! 🙈
But this polka dot jumpsuit was just too cute to pass up on, especially with details like the tie front knot and the adorable buttons in the back. I was SO worried about how this polka dot jumpsuit would look on me, but this ended up being one of my favorite jumpsuits to date. I think the fact that this jumpsuit has a cropped length definitely helped.
For size reference, I sized up to the large to accommodate my curves.
I styled this polka dot jumpsuit with this round bamboo bag that’s only $66. This bag is a dupe for the infamous Cult Gaia circle bamboo bag (but without the heft price tag) and it’s one of my favorite summer bags I’ve ever owned. Thanks to its natural color, it pairs so well with all of my outfits.
Since I wanted the focus to be on the polka dot jumpsuit and round bamboo bag, I wore these neutral black ankle strap sandals to complete my look. If you don’t already own a pair of black heels like these, I highly recommend you pick these up! They’re SO comfy and seriously goes with everything. These sandals also come in a ton of different colors. I also own the “Oatmeal Suede” color which is another neutral pair of sandals that pairs well with everything!
I’ve been getting a ton of questions about the lipsticks I wear lately, and they’re all from Colourpop! I’ve been using Colourpop’s lipsticks for years now and highly recommend them. They’re SO affordable at only $7 each that I’ve racked up quite the collection over the years. The one I’m wearing here is called Bumble and it’s one of my favorite shades that I’ve repurchased several times.
