Hi, how are you?? Does anyone else need a couple more days to recover from all the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping? 🙋🏻
I’m SUPER excited about today’s beauty review post because it is all about my favorite affordable makeup and skin care brand – e.l.f. Cosmetics! They seriously have THE BEST prices for quality makeup and skin care!
The lovely people from Influenster sent me a box filled with e.l.f. goodies to test out, and I’ve been using and testing it for the past couple of weeks so that I can provide all you marblelous babes with my unbiased opinion and review about these products.

Now on to the review!
e.l.f. Hydrating Bubble Mask
Price: $14
Okay, this mask is absolutely NOTHING like all the other masks I own. I must admit, it is quite unusual to me. To dispense the mask into your hands, you have to push down on the sides of the top.
The mask initially appears as a clear gel; but, as you apply it on your slightly damp face, the gel actually slowly transforms into a bubble mask on your face. I’ve never used a bubble mask before, so this was super cool to me!
You can actually hear as the bubble fizzes on your face. It then transforms into a foam which you can then massage into your face to leave on for longer, if you wish.
This mask left my face feeling nice and tight. My face felt super smooth to the touch and definitely hydrated my face. Overall, I really like this mask; however, I’m not quite fond of the way to disperse this mask as I do find it tends to get a bit messy and there is a lot of wastage from just trying to get the mask on my face.
The Marblelous Verdict: B
e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator in Mint Maniac
Price: $3
I think it is SO neat that this lip exfoliator comes in the form of a lipstick tube! I don’t know about you, but I absolutely despise scooping product out of a little jar with my fingers – It just gets so messy and ohmygoodness, don’t get me started on how products gets picked up underneath my fingernails.
I love how easy and mess-free this lip exfoliator is to use. All you have to do is gently rub the exfoliator tube in small, circular motions all over your lips. Once you’re satisfied with the results, you can either rinse off or wipe it off with a cotton round pad.
This exfoliator definitely reminds me of a sugar scrub. It is packed with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape, and Jojoba Oils.
As someone who wears matte liquid lipsticks on an almost daily basis, this lip exfoliator is seriously a lifesaver! Every night before I go to bed, I exfoliate my lips with this to get rid of all the dry and chapped skin that accompanies wearing matte lipsticks. I then seal it with a lip balm to protect my lips.
At $3 a pop, this lip exfoliator is seriously the most affordable option there is out there. Once I am done with my current tube, I definitely will be repurchasing. They even have different flavors like pink grapefruit, coconut, rose, and sweet cherry.
The Marblelous Verdict: A+
e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer in Clear
Price: $6
I must admit that I did not give this primer enough credit than it deserves. I honestly thought this was just going to be another mediocre primer. But boy, was I glad that I was proven wrong!
This primer is seriously amazing. This coming from someone who uses Make Up For Ever’s primer religiously. In fact, I actually PREFER (*gasps*) e.l.f.’s primer.
This primer gives my face such a smooth, mattifying finish. As someone who tends to get oily as the day progresses, this is a seriously huge plus for me. I actually notice that my face appears WAY less oiler at the end of the day, too.
I don’t know how to describe the texture of this primer, but when you feel it between your fingers, you just know that this is the good stuff. My foundation goes on SO smoothly with this primer, too!
At $6, this primer is at such an unbeatable price. They even have a purple primer (Brightening Lavender), green primer (Tone Adjusting Green), and a primer that contains shimmer (Radiant Glow). Once I’m done with this, I will be repurchasing and trying out the purple and green primer!
The Marblelous Verdict: A+
e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Wine
Price: $3
This lip color is basically like a jumbo lip pencil with a twist-up application. There is even a sharpener at the base of this lip color.
Although this lip color is advertised as “matte,” I find that there is still a noticeable sheen that appears on the lips. This might be due to the fact that it contains Vitamin A, C & E, which isn’t actually a bad thing as it does help prevent your lips from drying out.
This lip color comes in a variety of nude, pink, and red colors. The wine color that I received is actually pretty pigmented and comes off as a sort of deep strawberry tone.
If you are not a matte liquid lipstick enthusiast like me, then you might like and appreciate this matte lip color. But for me, I prefer my lipsticks more pigmented and dried down to a SUPER matte finish. I can definitely see this as a quick throw on lip color, but not really something I will reach for intentionally.

e.l.f. Baked Highlighter & Bronzer
Price: $4
Like the primer, I wasn’t expecting much from this baked highlighter and bronzer; but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this product.
I’m not really a fan of duos in a single pan, but somehow, this worked. I used a stippling brush and applied the bronzer part to the hollows of my cheek. While sweeping my brush back and forth on the duo pan, I also made sure to get some highlighter on the edge of my brush. This created such a gorgeous blended out glowy look on my cheeks.
The shimmer from the highlighter combined with the bronzer gave me an effortlessly contoured and sculpted effect. It’s kind of like the whole “no makeup” makeup look, but this is more like the “no contour” contour look, if you catch my drift. haha
The Marblelous Verdict: A
